QUETTA - A special anti-terrorism court (ATC) Sibi on Wednesday issued arrest warrants for former president Pervez Musharraf, former premier Shaukat Aziz, former Balochistan chief minister Jam Muhammad Yousuf and other accused nominated in Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti murder case.The arrest warrants were issued by ATC judge Nawaz Khan Barakzai in Sibi while hearing the case, which was registered in the Kohlu Police Station. The session court in Kohlu had sent the matter through the Balochistan High Court to the ATC on July 4. The then interior minister Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao, former Balochistan home minister Shoaib Nosherwani and Abdul Samad Lasi are also nominated in the case.Later, the hearing was adjourned till July 18.Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti was murdered on August 26 in 2006 during an operation during the Musharraf’s regime.It may be recalled that earlier, Quetta Judicial Magistrate-VI had already issued arrest warrants for all the accused nominated in the Bugti murder case, while former chief minister Balochistan and sitting federal minister Jam Muhammad Yousuf had been issued protective bail by the Sindh High Court. His counsel had moved an application in the Balochistan High Court, seeking interim bail, which was granted; however, he was asked appear before the court on July 16.
