ISLAMABAD : Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has asked Minister of State for Interior, Imtiaz Safdar Warriach, who is also President of PPP (Central Punjab), to organise the party in the province and reach out to people, as the forthcoming elections were not far off. The Prime Minister said this to Warriach during a meeting at PM House on Wednesday. The PM said that he would soon visit Punjab and address public meetings besides interacting with the party workers and leaders as suggested by Warriach.

The minister appreciated the Prime Minister for taking concrete steps, which reduced loadshedding in the country. He said that people were already feeling the difference as power generation had increased as a result of the government's decisions.
