QUETTA : Another case of polio has been reported in Sabzal Road of Quetta on Wednesday. According to UNICEF media officer Masooma Qurban, the 23-months-old baby was identified as Mehrma daughter of Agha Abdul Karim resident of Sabzal Road. She said the virus had been detected from a child who had never been vaccinated even one time in her life.
 “The infant did not receive polio drops due to refusal by her parents having strict religious beliefs,” UNICEF media officer said. This is the third polio case reported from Quetta district this year. Last polio case from district Quetta was detected on January 6th, 2012.
