KARACHI  - The Youth Affairs Department, Government of Sindh, has launched a development scheme to provide short training in different skills to the underprivileged sections of youth who are not able to receive training in formal institutions. A statement here on Wednesday said that the Department recently organized one week training for health care in remote area of Landhi at a local Hospital. This has been initiated on the directions and in line with the vision of the Sindh Minister for Youth Affairs Syed Faisal Ali Subzwari to reach out to all sections of youth, it said. The training was imparted by experts who guided the youth about health care practice. As many as 40 youth took part in the training who were awarded with certificates on completion. This training will help them take precautionary measures and provide some first in case of need.Meanwhile, the Finance Department has issued an instruction of grant of ad-hoc relief allowance-2012 at the rate of 20 per cent of basic pay and revision in the rate of conveyance allowances to all civil employees of the Sindh government, including contingent paid staff and contract employees employed against civil posts in basic pay scales on standard terms and conditions of contract appointment. An announcement to this effect was made in an official statement here on Wednesday.
