KARACHI/ LONDON-MQM Chief Altaf Hussain speaks to Corps Commander Karachi Lt. Gen. Sajjad Ghani via phone late Friday night.

During the conversation, MQM Chief expressed his reservations about ongoing targeted operation in Karachi.

After the conversation, it was reportedly decided to constitute six members committee to probe into untoward incidents in the ongoing military operation in Karachi.  The committee comprises of representatives of law enforcement agencies and nominees of MQM

Following the conversation, Altaf Hussain has deferred his decision to write an open letter to Chief of Army Staff, General Rahil Sharif.

Earlier, Altaf Hussain has announced to write an open letter to COAS regarding extra judicial killing, kidnapping and torturing of his party workers in ongoing operation in Karachi.   

Altaf Hussain has said Corps Commander has noted reservations of MQM impartially.
