The other day a big majority of the Pakistani business community participated in the well known annual Pakistan Achievement Awards 2014 besides many people from social circles of the UK.
The event was arranged in the British Parliament. It was chaired by Member Parliament Yasmin Qureshi as the Chief Guest. With regard to the confirmed date of the event A-Haq Chairman Pakistan Achievement Awards UK & Europe in a special ceremony declared that after 5 regular awards ceremonies this year the 6th Pakistan Achievement Awards will be held on 10th October 2014.
We hope that this year again the awards will be held successfully as in the previous years and your cooperation will continue as during the previous years. He further corrected the misconception that some people say that these awards are given over only to the Pakistanis.
These awards are given to people belonging to all cadres and communities who have done something remarkable in any of their myriad fields of activity and have in any way served Pakistan. He added that we have also given of awards to such people who exhibited remarkable achievement in any field.
In the coming Awards show we shall again prove that so many awards winner will not be Pakistanis but they did something worth mentioning and they were nominated for the Pakistan Achievement awards. A Haq further told that through these awards we are responding to the negative propaganda from World round particularly from the West to see that while living here in UK People are making achievements. With regards to the coming event of the Pakistan Achievement Awards A Haq said that we are bringing in a big Fashion Show which will be organised by Qaiser Qureshi Chief Executive of ‘Soch Event’ and during this event ‘Soch’ will be launched through an announcement.
On this occasion Shahzada Hayat Chairman United International Community Forum expressed his satisfaction over the fact that whenever a person comes from Pakistan to promote some event we feel happy and gratified; be it Pakistani dress, Pakistani Music or Pakistani Cultural event. We feel great pleasure in promoting whether it is from Punjab, Sind, Baluchistan or Khyber Pakhtoon Khwa. He said that Pakistan Achievement Awards UK & Europe is such an event and platform where the entire community gathers, as is it today.
