RAWALPINDI - Punjab Minister for Labour & Manpower, Raja Ashfaq Sarwar Saturday said that dengue eruption was feared due to recent monsoon rains, therefore, all government departments and general public should be on the alert and work with attention and close coordination to remove all possible breeding grounds of dengue larvae.

He expressed these views while presiding over a meeting held at the Commissioner Office to review anti-dengue steps taken by various government departments.

MNA, Raja Javed Ikhals, MPA, Raja Hanif advocate, PML-N leader Sardar Nasim, District Coordination Officer DCO, Sajid Zafar Dal, and other departments were also present on the occasion.

Punjab Minister for Labour & Manpower, Raja Ashfaq Sarwar said that allgovernment departments should review their anti-dengue steps on a war footing and improve their responsibilities given to them under anti-dengue campaign and make them result oriented.

He said that dengue could only be eliminated with coordinated and combined efforts because the disease was a common enemy of human being, therefore every individual and government departments should discharge their responsibilities for eliminating dengue with devotion and diligence.
