LAHORE - A 20-year-old factory worker ended her life by swallowing poisonous pills at her house in Kahna on Saturday.

Her family told the police that Nabeela Bibi, a resident of Jhalkay Village, took poisonous pills shortly after she exchanged harsh words with her younger brother over some domestic dispute. Nabeela was rushed to hospital where she expired later. The police reached the spot and handed over the body to the family without autopsy.

Police investigators said the girl was working at a local factory. She was present at home along with seven siblings when she took the extreme step.

FOUND DEAD: A 55-year-old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances from Factory Area police limits on Saturday morning.

The body was moved to the morgue for autopsy. Investigators say they believe the man, unidentified so far, was an addict who expired because of taking excessive drugs. Further investigation was underway.
