People criticised the condition of 1 to 3 kanal of land for educational institutions, and demanded that the district administration should withdraw the decision.
Gujranwala Chamber of Education (Schools) Chairman Chaudhry Jamil said that land prices were very high in the city area and it was impossible for the owners to purchase big pieces of land in urban areas. He further said that the decision of the DCOs’ committee will cause increase in school fees and resultantly middle standard and poor students would be unable to get education in the private schools.
