Killing of women is increasing rapidly across the country. Recently, 18-year old Zeenat Rafiq was burnt to death by her own mother for marrying a man of her own choice. She was victimised for dishonouring the family and her siblings refused the proper burial of her body.

Young women are the victim of honour killing but no serious efforts are made to secure them, neither nationally nor internationally. Despite this, they are usually maltreated in shape of acid attack and gang rape as well. The bill made for women protection must be implemented since women a main part of our country, and a majority. I request the government to provide safety to women and control their unjust killing.
