Begum Kalsoom Nawaz wife of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif regains conscious after month's long coma confirmed her son Hussain here in London on Thursday.
While talking to the reporters, Hussain Nawaz told, " Ami has opened her eyes after one month".
Maryam Nawaz also wrote on her Twitter account that her mother opened her eyes for a few seconds and we don't know either she recognized us or not but thanks to Almighty Allah that he has answered our prayers.
1st time in 30 days,Ami opened eyes for a few secs. Don’t know if she saw or registered us. Still not conscious& on vent. Prayers solicited.

Kalsoom Nawaz had been unconscious and in critical condition after suffering a cardiac arrest last month.
She was diagnosed with lymphoma (throat) cancer in August 2017 and has undergone several chemotherapy sessions.
