LAHORE - Additional District and Sessions Judge Abdul Qayyum directed Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) to take action against three Station House Officers in the City for their non-compliance of the court orders here on Tuesday.
The learned judge took this decision just after the court was informed that three Station House Officers did not comply with the order wherein they were directed to submit ‘recovery’ as an evidence for the under trial cases.
SHOs of North Cantt, Johar Town and Sattokatla had to submit recoveries of the cases. The judge also issued them show-cause notice to them.
The cases were adjourned to later dates because of the negligence of the concerned police officers due to which both the parties were worried and disappointed.
The judge expressed concern over the poor performance of police officers as the cases were of murder accused.
