PESHAWAR -0Orthopedic Surgeon and Assistant Professor at the Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) Dr Shakir Hussain and his brother Dr Altaf Hussain were critically injured when some unidentified armed men opened firing at his car in Peshawar on Tuesday.
However, a security guard of Dr Shakir Hussain was killed in the incident. Dr Shakir Hussain, belonging to Shia sect, along with two gunmen and brother Dr Altaf Hussain, was leaving his clinic in Dabgari Gardens when some unidentified armed men in police uniform tried to kidnap him. 
On resistance, the armed men opened indiscriminate firing at his car, injuring Dr Shakir Hussain and his brother Dr Altaf Hussain critically while one of his guards Kamal Hussain killed in the incident. One of the kidnappers was also killed due to the firing of his gunmen. 
Posting, transfer
KPK government has ordered the posting/transfer of two officers in the public interest with immediate effect. Usman Yaqoob BS-19 Additional Secretary, Energy and Power Department has been asked to report to Establishment Dept while Ghazanfar Ali BS-19 Addl Secy, Inter Provincial Coordination Dept has been transferred and posted as Addl Secy, Energy and Power Dept, says a notification issued here by the Establishment Department.
