KARACHI- Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd will be resuming flights to and from Karachi starting tomorrow, Friday Juna 13, 2014 after having reviewed the situation at Jinnah International Airport, the airline said on its website.

The airline further stated that it was resuming the flights with “additional capacity to help meet demand from recently cancelled flights.” “We will continue to monitor the situation closely,” it said, recommending travelers "to check their flight status before departing for the airport."

The airline had previously cancelled some flights to Karachi from Bangkok after Taliban insurgents claimed responsibility for an attack at Jinnah International Airport.
