Pakistan has been facing terrorism since the 9/11 episode. Other countries have overcome this menace and no major incidents have occurred due to overwhelming efforts by their intelligence agencies. But Pakistan has seen an alarming rise in terrorism because we are not taking any action against the terrorists. Are we cowards? Or do we not trust in justice?
Our politicians just give statements but what have we actually done? The Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) took responsibility for the attack on PNS Mehran, but nothing was done. One wonders at the criminal silence of those at the helm of the affairs. The TTP has already claimed responsibility but what about those who have lost precious lives and loved ones? Are the Sharif brothers only interested in saving their own skin and their families? Who will worry about the dead and the dying?
