BAHAWALPUR - Bahawalpur Commissioner Captain Muhammad Zafar Iqbal has said that vaccination against polio is a national duty and any kind of interference in this regard will not be tolerated at all.
While taking notice of the incident of attack on polio team in Khan Pur, Commissioner directed that immediate action should be taken against the persons involved in the attack on polio team. Fool proof security of polio teams should be ensured.
Commissioner Bahawalpur Division has warned that those who obstruct the work of polio teams will be dealt with iron fists and legal action will be taken against those who refuse to be vaccinated against polio.
DPO assures victims family of justice
DPO Muhammad Faisal Kamran reached the house of the affected family, assuring them of full justice. He briefed them on the progress made in the case and said, “I stand with you in this hour of grief. I will follow up this case on a daily basis.”
According to the details, the police was informed that a dead body of a minor girl was found at a house in Chak 65 Fateh. The girl was identified Mahosh daughter of Muhammad Imran Qaum Baloch 65. Her body was sent for autopsy.
Police registered a murder case against the accused included Muhammad Hussain, Qamar, Muzammil, Ashraf, Saleem and Nasir.
The DPO strongly instructed the police officers across the district to take precautionary measures to prevent such incidents.
