ISLAMABAD - Inquiry report of the scuffle between the workers of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf and Malakand Scouts deployed at the house of a federal minister, suggested that the cause of the incident was that PTI worker's vehicles were parked near Scouts tents. The inquiry was held on the orders of Ministry of Interior. Superintendent Police East Saqib Sultan and ASP City Mutazer Madhi conducted the probe into the incident, which took place on 09-03-2009 at the house of Federal Minister, Lal Khan. The report suggested that office of PTI and house of Federal Minister Lal Khan were situated close to each other in Sector G-6/4. The PTI workers used to park their vehicles near the tent of Malakand Scouts guards, which was not allowed by the Scouts guards for security reasons. "The incident took place due to parking of vehicles by the PTI workers. During the scuffle both parties received minor injuries and the doctors after medical check up reported as non-cognisable offence", report revealed. The report also informed that the incident was happened in front of office of PTI and residence of Federal Minister. It was not proved that any Scouts guard was entered into the office of PTI since Sub-Inspector Aabpara Muhammad Ali, on receiving information regarding the scuffle on Rescue-15 also arrived at the scene. He did not found any item damaged or ransacked in the office of PTI or the workers of PTI complained about any damage at that time.
