LAHORE Two females including a student of BA died during road accidents in separate areas in the City on Friday. As per details, an 18-year-old Shazia was on the way back to her home when a speeding Shahzoor wagon (LEX-6123) crushed her near Suhail Shah Mosque at Bagrian Chowk. Resultantly the victim girl suffered multiple injuries and died on the spot. The driver, however, managed to flee from the crime scene, leaving his vehicle on the scene. Police say when the body of the deceased girl was handed over to her heirs after completing necessary medico-legal formalities the bereaved family was shocked to see their loved once dead. Meanwhile a 40-year-old unidentified woman was crossing Bund Road when an uncontrolled truck hit her as a result of which she died on the scene. Police after recovering the body made numerous announcements in nearby mosques but none of the citizens claimed to own the body, which was shifted to morgue. Meanwhile, a 30-year-old youth was shot dead over unexplained circumstances in Green Town police area on Friday. The deceased was identified as Khaqaan Ali Javed, resident Azeem Ullah Building Ghulam Hussain Qasim Road, Karachi. The unidentified accused sprayed one bullet, which pierced into his head resultantly the youth died.
