2 cops among three dead in Bannu suicide blast, 18 injured

At least three persons, including two policemen, were killed and 18 others, including civilians, were injured when a suicide bomber rammed his explosive laden motorbike into a police mobile here on Tuesday, police said.
As per details, a police mobile carrying five cops was targeted by the suicide bomber, as soon as it left the police station for its routine patrolling.
The blast killed three persons, including two policemen, right on the spot and injured 18 others including three policemen who were sitting in the mobile. The police van completely destroyed in the blast.
The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital where several of them were in critical condition.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
The incident happened at about 1:00 p.m. outside a police station located in Saddar area of Bannu.
This is the second blast in the province since Tuesday morning. In an earlier blast, nine people were injured when a bomb exploded outside the house of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's information minister.
