RAWALPINDI - PML-N MNA Muhammad Hanif Abbasi Monday inaugurated the newly constructed building of Government Technical Institute at Farooq-e-Azam Road and Shahbaz Sharif Block in Government Girls Degree College, Muslim Town.On the occasion, PML-N MPA Raja Muhammad Hanif Advocate, Director Colleges Prof Hamayun Iqbal, heads of the respective institutions, educationists, local office bearers of PML-N, large number of students were also present.A total of Rs 600 million has been spent on Government Technical Institute Rawalpindi while the project of Shahbaz Sharif Block in the college completed with Rs 50 million While addressing the inaugural ceremonies, Muhammad Hanif Abbasi MNA said that government Technical Institute was another gift for Pindities given by the Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and it was a commendable addition for promotion of education especially technical education. He added that PML-N government in Punjab under the sagacious leadership of CM took revolutionary steps for promotion of education and uplift of the people during its five years period of government. He disclosed that technical education in 32 disciplines and trades would be imparted to students in Government Technical Institute, Rawalpindi. He also disclosed that the additional block attributed with the name of CM was triple storey structure having six classrooms along with corridors and verandas on lower and upper ground while a spacious hall on first floor. Muhammad Hanif Abbasi said that PML-N endeavored its best to deliver maximum during last five years with a view to serve the people despite of financial constraints. He added that if people repose their confidence in PML-N during forth coming elections, it would serve the nation much more to take the country out of all crises. Raja Hanif Advocate while addressing on this occasion, thanked CM and also lauded the efforts of Muhammad Hanif Abbasi for establishing Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology, Institute of Urology, flyovers of Chandni Chowk and 6th Road Chowk, reconstruction of dozens of roads and additional blocks in educational institutions. He said that PML-N believed in politics of service and would do much more if given chance by the masses in forth coming elections.
