JUI-F shaping up seat adjustment with PML-N

KHANEWAL - Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Parliamentary Leader in Senate Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri disclosed that the decision regarding seat adjustment with the PML-N was under process and his party had constituted a committee comprising its provincial presidents of all four provinces. He claimed that the JUI-F in principle was agreed and striving for the formation of MMA like platform but due to one or another reasons and non-cooperation on the part of religious parties all such efforts were in vain so far.
Maulana Haideri made the remarks while taking to the newsman after addressing a public meeting of party workers here at Jamia Malkiya Aik Minar Masjid in Colony No-1 here on Monday.
On the occasion, the JUI-F stalwart stressed that the Election Commission must implement Section 62, 63 on all contesting candidates without any favour or fear, adding that the JUI-F had complete faith in the credibility of CEC Justice (r) Fakhruddin as now the ball was in his court and he must prove his credibility, sincerity and powers entrusted given by the Constitution and the Supreme Court through its verdict.
He pointed out that the incidents of Hazara Town in Quetta, Abbas Town in Karachi and Peshawar were pre-planned by anti-Islamic powers and agencies to postpone the upcoming elections.
He claimed that these general elections would be the historic election of the country and must be held according to the schedule. He confirmed that his party was agreed on two names proposed by the PML-N for caretaker prime minister i.e Justice (r) Shakarullah Jan and Justice (r) Zahid Aslam.
Maulana Haideri called Reman Malik a non-serious minister and who he said always tell a lie and act like shooting of a comedy drama. He claimed that the PPP had planned appointing former Finance minister Hafeez Sheikh as caretaker premier as his resignation from ministership was the part of such planning.
To question about the 'big' public meeting of Imran Khan in Peshawar, he complained that the media had the power to make any one of its liking hero.  Maulana Haideri argued that the JUI-F had staged 10 to 12 big public meetings over the past few month in Sukkhar, Kalat, Hyderabad and other cities which were attended by hundreds of thousands of people but media did not highlighted these due to unknown reasons.
He informed that his party was going to organise historic "Islam Zindabad" conference at Minar-e Pakistan in Lahore on March 31, 2013 which would be attended by a hundreds of thousands of workers and activists.
On the occasion JUI-F Punjab Ameer Rashid Ludhianvi, Deputy Provincial Secretary Prof Abu Bakar Ch, Maulan Abdul Majid Siddique, Maulana Ikramul Qadri, Sheikh Irfan Ayub Sh and other were also present.
