ISLAMABAD - Karachi Zebras brushed aside Peshawar Panthers by six wickets in the Faysal Bank Cup One-day Tournament third round Pool B match here at Pindi Cricket Stadium on Monday.

Put in to bat first, Peshawar were all out on 210 runs in 47.3 overs. Nawaz Ahmed made 66, Iftikhar Ahmed 41 and Zohaib Khan 30. Misbah Khan took 4-30 and Fawad Khan 3-36. In reply, Karachi achieved the target in 45.3 overs for the loss of four wickets, Faisal Iqbal played a match-winning unbeaten knock of 93 runs while Tariq Haroon also made unbeaten 38. Zohaib Khan took 2-39.

In another Pool B match, Rawalpindi Rams edged out Abbottabad Falcons by five wickets in a high-scoring match. Batting first, Abbottabad Falcons made 302 runs for the loss of five wickets in 50 overs while in reply, Rawalpindi chased the target in 48.1 overs losing five wickets.
