SIALKOT - The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has issued Red Warrants for 16 most notorious human traffickers to ensure their early arrest as each of them was wanted by the FIA. All these human traffickers belonging to Sialkot, Gujrat and Gujranwala districts.

The senior FIA officials told the newsmen here that these notorious human traffickers who were declared proclaimed offenders, had been running illegally business of sending people abroad by extorting heavy chunks after showing them future dreams abroad. Their early arrest has become a challenge for the FIA.

They added that the FIA has tightened the noose around the accused, saying that the Gujranwala Division was still on the top in human trafficking in Punjab.

CRACKDOWN ON KITE-FLYERS: The police launched a crackdown on kites flyers, buyers and sellers and have arrested as many as four accused identified as Khurram Shehzad, Muhammad Anwar, Abdul Qayyum and Nasir Mehmood from Railway Station Sialkot locality and Kotli Loharaan.

Police have also recovered as many as 5,200 kites of different sizes and 2300 strings including metalled strings.

Police have sent the accused behind the bars after registering separate cases against them, in this regard.
