LONDON: Lily Allen has admitted that her recent singles have been rubbish, blaming radio stations for their poor decisions. The singer was responding to a fan on Twitter who described her recent output as “docile pop rubbish” and “disappointing”. Allen also insisted that her label Warners won’t allow her to release “the better stuff” from her forthcoming album Sheezus.Allen has so far put out four tracks from Sheezus, including top ten hits ‘Hard Out Here’ and Air Balloon, as well as ‘L8 CMMR’ and new single ‘Our Time’. Meanwhile, Allen recently told critics to after claiming that feminism “shouldn’t be a thing anymore”.–DS
