Lahore : Pakistan office of the International Growth Centre is hosting the South Asia Growth Conference 2014 in collaboration with the Planning & Development Department and in partnership with the ministry of planning development and reforms. The first session on “Official opening and Overview of IGC in South Asia” will be started by the welcome address of Punjab CM Shahabaz Sharif while other keynote speakers will be included Minister for planning, development and reforms Ahsan Iqbal, IGC Executive Director Jonathan Leape, IGC Pakistan country director Dr. Ijaz Nabi, besides IGC country directors from Indian and Bangladesh.

The three-day international conference will be attended by delegates and experts from across the world who will read their research papers in the moot.

The main sessions of the conference will deal topics like State capabilities: macro economics & public finance; Trade, foreign investment & firms; Firms, markets& intermediation; Public sector management & program design and Priorities for further country research.
