Islamabad- Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan says, the ongoing Karachi operation will continue without any discrimination, till achieving the goal of complete peace in the city.

In an interview with journalists, he said all political parties were taken into confidence before starting the targeted operation in Karachi against criminals. Nisar Ali Khan said the Rangers' raid at MQM headquarters was within the parameters of law and conducted on intelligence-based reports.

The Interior Minister categorically stated that there is no presence of Daesh in Pakistan. He said Madaris are not involved in terrorism. Law enforcement agencies are minutely monitoring their working and funding, if any Madrassa is found involved in getting funds through illegal means, it would be dealt with according to law.

The Minister said the Afghan government is cooperating with Pakistan, in arresting wanted terrorist Mullah Fazlullah, who has been masterminding terrorist activities in Pakistan.

Nisar said the government, soon after coming to power, activated the National Counter-Terrorism Authority to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country.
