Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Wednesday took notice of a firing incident in which two employees of Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) inspection team lost their lives.
He said the power theft should neither go undetected nor unpunished. The prime minister ordered immediate inquiry into the incident and directed the law enforcement authorities to ensure full protection to the IESCO personnel.
In a message to the bereaved families, he extended his deep condolence and prayed to Almighty Allah to bless the departed souls in eternal peace, said a press release. Two employees of the IESCO inspection team were killed on Tuesday last after they detected power theft at a factory.
