LAHORE: The Department of Theriogenology of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore, in collaboration with Animal Husbandry Department of Jammu and Azad Kashmir government, has organised a two-month training workshop titled “Refresher Training on Artificial Insemination”.

Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Khushi Muhammad and AJK Animal Husbandry Director General Ashfaq Ahmad Qazi co-chaired the concluding session on Wednesday and distributed certificates among the participants of the workshop. Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad, Prof Dr Mian Abdus Sattar, Prof Dr Aneela Durrani, Dr Ejaz Channa were present on the occasion.–Staff reporter

 Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dr Khushi Muhammad urged the trainees to become an authority in their respective fields and contribute to the uplift of livestock, dairy and related sectors.

“Such training workshop bring competency in professionals work,” Ashfaq Ahmad Qazi said while lauding the UVAS for providing a platform for the learning of skills about artificial insemination.
