FAISALABAD: State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali today said that all the state institutions, including the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) are independent.

Talking to media persons at FESCO headquarters, the PML-N leader said that NAB can initiate investigation if there is any proof against anyone in Punjab. The government has no objection, if all the institutions work within their limits.

He said that the ruling PML-N has always supported accountability and never created hurdle in the process but it is inappropriate to toss anyone’s turban without any proof.

To a question, he said that the country is progressing due to the government’s positive policies.
