A 5 member bench of the commission will be headed by Director General for the law of Election Commission.

However, the other names of the committee will be announced later.

Both parties and their lawyers will appear before where they will file their all evidence and documents.

Committee will scrutinize the documents in the presence of both the parties and lawyers.

Election Commission has ordered both the parties to appear in front of the committee established to scrutinize foreign funding case on 19th March.

While talking to media outside EC, former leader of PTI Akbar S. Babar has said that “An important progress has been made in foreign funding case in EC today.

"I expect PTI do not approach High Court (HC) against this order because it has been the attitude of PTI that they always move high court to obtain stay order regarding any order passed against them."

It is hoped that this procedure will be followed to scrutinize the accounts of other political parties, he added.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan had accepted in Senate Elections that he had spent 800 million to 1000 million in the election
