ISLAMABAD - Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Dr. Nasim Ashraf has said that International Cricket Council (ICC) and PCB would jointly take the security measures to organise the ICC Champions Trophy in Pakistan that is scheduled to be held in three major cities Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi in September. While talking to reporters here at Diamond cricket ground after distributing prizes among the players of Veterans Cricket national tournament, he said that the ICC security delegation would tour all the three venues of in May. The PCB head repeatedly said that neither the ICC nor the Asian Cricket Council showed any security concerns and the next season in Pakistan would be very busy. Ashraf said that the PCB would try it best to have Majid Khan posted as the chief of ICC Cricket Committee, as India's Sunil Gavasker had resigned from this the position a few days back. "I have contacted the heads of different boards and they have assured they would support Majid Khan," he said. Ashraf said that PCB governing board would come at the table with 13-point agenda including development plan, financial statement and the approval of budget for new financial year.
