Sound of slogans by supporters of leading political party of the country Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) echoed on roads of the provincial capital on late Saturday as PMLN secures victory in general election 2013.

After marking majority seats of National and provincial assemblies in the City, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)’s workers and supporters especially youth celebrated the victory by dancing on the roads, chanting slogans in motorcycle rallies and distributing sweets among the voters and supporters of the party on Saturday night.

It is third time in the country’ history that PML-N rose as single largest party and it again going to rule the country with visible majority in the parliament despite very close contest on some seats with second emerging strong political party—Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) which gave PML-N a tough time across the country especially in provincial metropolis, which known as the fort of the PML-N.

Arial fire were seen at some places while aggressive slogans heated the atmosphere between workers of both PML-N and PTI inLahore.  However, no major clash was observed at anywhere in the city.

On the occasion, PML-N workers danced on drum beat and they showered rose petals over their successful candidates. They also took the succeeding candidates on their shoulders and kept sloganeering as they were roaring.

NA-120, the area where Pakistan Muslim League-N President Mian Nawaz Sharif contesting elections, was the major point of party workers where there, they continued roaming around the polling booths till late night.
