BANNU - At least five persons of a same family, including three real brothers and a father and his son, were killed while another sustained injuries in a clash between two rival groups here on Sunday.
According to details, three real brothers Sher Adat, Gul Rauf, Zarullah, sons of Ahmad Shera, and Mohammad Sher (father) and his son Faridullah were gunned down when allegedly their rivals identified as Khaista Noor, Khuba Noor, Hazrat Noor and Badiuzaman opened firing on them.  Khuba Noor also sustained injuries in the incident.
­The incident occurred at Babri Kala Mamish Khel locality.
The reason behind the incident is stated to be a dispute on land. The alleged killers escaped after committing the crime. Cantonment police station registered the case and started investigation into the incident.
