MULTAN- Security was put on high alert at Multan Airport today after Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) received terror threats .
A few days ago unknown miscreants, had threatened to hijack the airplanes leaving Multan Airport and to blow up the airport . Airport authorities, while placing the security on high alert, have increased the contingents of the Airport Security Force (ASF) and have placed snipers on the buildings. To avoid any untoward occurrence the luggage of the passengers is also being search thoroughly.
ASF sources claimed that terror threats were also received at airports of Peshawar, Quetta, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rahim Yar Khan and Sukkur where security was also enhanced further.
