KARACHI - Police have registered at least five cases against Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) activists at different police stations in the city for holding public rallies without permission.
The cases have been registered at Bin Qasim, Shah Latif and Mangopir police stations. Police said that cases were registered against unknown activists of the PTM because they were holding public gatherings in the city without official permission. Police said that cases have been registered on the complaint of the state. Police said that anti-terrorism sections have also been added to the FIRs because PTM activists made provocative speeches against the security forces. Police said that cases were registered over the last couple of days.
PTM has announced a gathering in Karachi on May 13.
