Khattak submits detailed response on corruption charges in NAB

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pervez Khattak Saturday submitted a detailed response to National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in the corruption charges.

According to a private television channel, Pervez Khattak submitted responses to at least 30 questions raised by NAB over corruption allegations.

NAB had earlier sent two questionnaires and was asking details about his alleged involvement in corruption cases.

The reports added that NAB asked details about the illegal lease of a huge tract of KP forest department land in Malam Jabba and the unofficial use of provincial helicopter.

On April 24, NAB had summoned Khattak after it emerged that the KP government had illegally leased 275 acres of land in Malam Jabba, a tourist attraction in Swat district, which belonged to the provincial forest department.
