MARDAN - District police have arrested 400 people and registered 323 FIRs against violators of corona SOPs in the district so far while corona vaccination of police is also underway at the Mardan Police Lines.
A statement from the office of District Police Officer Dr Zahidullah Khan said that the police, along with army and district administration officials, visited various markets in Mardan district to check implementation of SOPs on Tuesday.
It said that so far, the cops had also confiscated 439 vehicles for violation of the corona SOPs in the district. The statement said that markets would remain shut while the shops selling necessary items in the light of the SOPs would remain open to facilitate public.
Meanwhile, the police spokesman said that corona vaccination of police personnel was underway at Mardan Police Lines.
He said the vaccination of cops was underway under the monitoring of officers and only policemen were being vaccinated in the police lines.
