According to a news report published in an English daily, TTP commander for Darra Adam Khel and Khyber Agency, has said in an interview that his group is not involved in the kidnapping of ICUs VC, but the Taliban of Waziristan have done that. This statement is absurd; whether its the Taliban of Waziristan or any other tribal area; all of them are following the same ideology and are working against the state. However, this statement also provides a glimpse of hope that the Taliban factions are divided from within. This division will be helpful for our troops that are fighting to contain militancy in the region. Pakistan needs to control militancy in the tribal areas as soon as possible, otherwise our position in the international arena would be affected and we are already seeing these signs.
