Case referred to PbBC body

LAHORE The Punjab Bar Council (PbBC) Thursday referred to the disciplinary committee an application wherein license and law degree of Advocate Rana Ilamuddin Ghazi has been questioned. Ilmuddin is one who moved a case against former president Gen Pervez Musharraf before the Lahore High Court, to seek his return, high treason trial and punishment. The application against him has been moved by Advocate Ahmad Chattah, who belongs lawyers forum of newly-established Musharraf-led-All Pakistan Muslim League. The applicant alleged that Mr Ghazi was not a qualified lawyer and possessed fake degree of LLB and practicing license. He, therefore, requested the bar council to initiate action against Mr Ghazi being a regulatory body of lawyers in the province.
