VEHARI - Open courts are being held to provide speedy justice to the needy people at their door steps

Newly appointed District Police Officer (DPO) Shakir Hussain Dawar remarked while addressing the people at an open court held at Saddr Polices Station on the other day.

The District Police Officer  said that he opened the opportunity for the common persons and those who could not reach his office.

He said that to bring justice to people’s doorsteps open courts would be held and complaints would be listened and on the spot directions would be issued to mitigate people’s sufferings.

Shakir directed all the SHOs to register FIRs freely and no political pressure must be accepted in this regard. He warned that if any investigation officer found involved in any malpractice would be sent behind the bars.

He assured the complainants for the resolution to their issues within a week and the police officers would themselves report him about the progress.

The District Police Officer  said that he would hold open courts at all parts of the district as he believed in the practical justice.

He also sought help of the media for ensuring peace in the district.
