Funfair brings chill to Wapda Town college


LAHORE – The annual funfair of Government Degree College for Women, Wapda Town, was organized here the other day.
TV artist-cum-politician Kanwal was the chief guest at the fair that was attended by a large number of students. The college was decorated by colourful small flags and beautiful plants. Different eatables stalls were also arranged for the students. Variety of programmes was also organised in which students participated enthusiastically.
The chief guest really appreciated the college administration for arrangements. On the occasion, the students performed different skits.  Late, college Principal Farzana Faiz Gillani and Hareem Tariq thanked the chief guest.
Meeting: PU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran on Sunday chaired meeting of all heads of departments at Al Raazi Hall of Undergraduate Studies. The meeting reviewed arrangements regarding laptop distribution ceremony being held on Monday. Various committees were constituted to carry out different tasks smoothly.
Around 12,000 PU students of morning and evening classes will be getting laptops on merit in the event.
