PESHAWAR - Chairman Board of Technical Education Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Peshawar, Nasir Ali Muhammad Zai, has said that the government is committed to promote technical education in the country and those students who have secured positions in technical education institutions would be awarded cash prizes and gold medals.

“Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti would award the cash prizes and gold medals to around 86 toppers of various disciplines of Peshawar Technical Board,” he informed this while briefing media persons here at a local hotel.

He said that this is his foremost responsibility to enroll more students who are interested in getting technical education.

He added that when, he assumed the charge of his office, the Peshawar Technical Board had taken important steps for encouraging the students of technical colleges and that is why Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti has assured them that all possible support and facilities would be provided to encourage the students of technical education.

He maintained that these awards would be given to those students, who have completed their programmes from 2006 till 2012. 

On this occasion he also thanked Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Technical Education Nawabzada Mehmoood Zeb Khan for taking innovative steps in the department.
