RDA mulls four roads beautification




RAWALPINDI  – Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has started planning to decorate and beautify four major roads of the city.
According to sources, repairing and renovation of manholes, footpaths and green belts on Saidpur Road, Sixth Road, Fifth Road and Fourth B Road is under discussion for the purpose. A meeting, chaired by DG RDA, Chaudhry Naseer Ahmed, was held in this regard the other day that was attended by the commissioner, DCO Rawalpindi along with Administrator Rawal Town Saif Anwar Jappa, MD PHA, Captain (Retd) Mushtaq Ahmed, EDO WASA, Shoukat Mehmood and EDO (MS) Imtiaz Malik, among others.
Installation of dividers, plantation of plants and operations against the encroachments on the road would be conducted by TMA and PHA.
