SHEIKHUPURA: A group of 37 Sikh yatrees, led by Sardar Akhbir Singh from England, arrived at Gurdawara Sacha Souda situated in Farooqabad for their religious rites amid elaborated security measures here the other day.

On the occasion, while talking to the media, the Yatrees leader appreciated the Pakistani government for making effective arrangements to keep their religious places in good condition.–Reporter

He urged the both the Pakistani and Indian governments to shun their differences and developed cordial friendly relations to bring in prosperity in the region. He also stressed the need for the removal of unnecessary complications and hurdles from Visa policy to facilitate people of both the countries and enhance people to people contact. He asserted that the leadership on both sides of the border should exhibit maturity and work together for the development and elimination of poverty and illiteracy.
