LAHORE: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested a terrorist of a banned outfit and his two accomplices besides recovering arms and provocative literature here today.

The CTD responding to an intelligence report conducted operation in limits of Cantt police station during which a terrorist identified as Qamar Abbas belonging to a defunct organization was arrested. On information of the detainees the CTD conducted another raid at Burki Road and arrested his two cohorts.

Arms and provocative literature was recovered from possession of the detainees who have been shifted to an undisclosed location for further interrogation.
