Incumbent rulers create conflict among institutions: Sarwar

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Punjab organiser Chaudhary Mohammad Sarwar has said the incumbent rulers are creating conflict among national institutions besides looting and plundering the national wealth in connivance with the PPP.

He said people are now fed up with both these parties.

He said the Election Commission of Pakistan and the government would be responsible for any untoward incident, if army would not be deployed during the second phase of local government elections.

He said the democracy was threatened from none other than the rulers’ bad governance and corruption. He said the Pakistani nation was fully supporting the Pakistan Army for the elemination of terrorism and creation of peace.

He said the government should improve its governance instead of creating conflict with the national institutions. Chaudhary Sarwar was talking to different delegations of party leaders and workers from different cities, who came to discuss the second phase of the local government elections.

Opposition Leader Punjab Assembly Mian Mahmood-ur-Rasheed, PTI Punjab deputy organiser Umer sarfraz Cheema and others were present on the occasion. Chaudhary Sarwar said the government should act prudently, otherwise any conflict would cause problems for the rulers as well as the whole nation.

He said the PML-N had failed to fulfill its promises made with the nation during the general election campaign. He said the rulers should now accept their failures and seek apology from the nation.

He said the PTI was continuously demanding deployment of army during the next two phases of the local government elections but the ECP was not responding positively. This shows that the ECP was conniving with the government to help the PML-N candidates win.
