NAUSHEHRO FEROZE: - On the directives of the District and Sessions Judge, 3rd Civil Judge Ghulam Madani Memon on Saturday paid a surprise visit to the Civil Hospital and reviewed medical facilities being provided to the people of the district. 

The civil judge during his visit inspected different wards including operation theatre, emergency ward, OPD, ICU and also checked attendance register of the employees. He was briefed by the Medical Superintendant Dr Mohammad Iqbal Ansari about the facilities being provided to the patients at the hospital. The Civil Judge inquired about the health of the patients admitted in different wards of the hospital and directed the administration to provide all medicines and other facilities to them without any discrimination. He also directed the medical superintendant to ensure attendance of all doctors as well as other staff and maintain cleanliness in the hospital. The Medical Superintendant Dr Mohammad Iqbal Ansari informed the civil judge about lack of doctors and other staff and budgetary problems due to which all medicines could not be provided to the patients from the hospital. 

The judge also visited Dialysis Centre and met with the patients admitted there. In-charge of the centre Dr Ayaz Ali Memon briefed him about the facilities being provided to the patients at the centre. 

On the occasion, the patients complained to the Civil Judge about lack of specialist doctors in the centre and demanded that specialists should be appointed so that they could be able to get proper treatment.
