Three bodies found on Greek island shores

ATHENS - Three bodies were found on the Greek island of Lesbos’s shores over the past week, though there is no known migrant boat sinking to associate them with, the coastguard said Saturday. The bodies of a teenage girl, a boy and what is apparently a man have been found in a state of advanced decomposition in separate incidents since November 5, a coastguard spokeswoman said. “The bodies need to be examined,” she told AFP, noting that an operation to recover the third body was under way. Local news reports said the dead are migrants but there are no recent boat sinkings known to authorities.
