Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Mehmood Khan has said that Pakistan is extremely close in completely wiping out the polio disease from the country.
Addressing a public gathering at Hazar Khawani near Peshawar on Monday, Mehmood Khan said that the dream of a polio-free country would only be realised through regular immunisation.
On this occasion, the CM administered anti-polio drops to the children. He also inaugurated Rescue 1122 sub-office in the area.
Meanwhile, presiding over a meeting in Peshawar, Mehmood Khan directed to upgrade the Saidu Medical College and Saidu Teaching Hospital in Swat on urgent bases. He said that no compromise would be made on provision of basic health facilities to the people.
