RAWALPINDI - Police and security agencies on Sunday recovered several Pakistan Army uniforms and explosive jackets during a raid from a house at Chach village of Chakri and arrested owner of the house, who is said to be the bodyguard of a Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) stalwarts brother. When contacted, SHO Police Station Chontra Abrar Qureshi told TheNation that a police team was investigating in another case regarding murder (Case No. 237 dated 6/10/09) with the assistance of sniffer dogs in the Chach village. During the search the sniffer dogs took the police force to a house which was owned by Sartaj Khan s/o Jehan Khan, who was the bodyguard of Chaudhry Changaiz Khan, brother of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) Additional Secretary General Punjab, Chaudhry Tanveer Khan. When police searched the house, a box was found in the store room from which several uniforms of Pakistan Army and explosive jackets were recovered, he added. SHO Abrar said that police was busy in the investigation when all of a sudden the officials of intelligence agencies reached the house and apprehended Sartaj Khan and shifted him to an unknown place along with recovered material.
